New Country Home on Lake Hartwell
Lavonia
Artistic rendering: Front of the proposed house
This house has just added to LakeHartwellhouses.com in December of 2007. This house/lot was picked to meet the needs of our past guests. We wanted to expand our “WOW” factors when people view our pictures on our website. We want to build a comfortable size house that has all of the upgrades and a décor that is up to date. We realized the need for functionality and the ability to spread out for our guests. This being our 3rd lake house we realize the needs our guests have. Such as a home that has a comfortable feel, visual upgrades such as wood ceilings and an upgraded kitchen, a country dirt road setting that is away from a busy road, deep water cove that will not go dry in a drought, and close to enough to the Interstate that you don’t get lost. For us, this was the place
This lot was
picked out during the worst droughts in the Lakes history(2007/2008).
The lot has over 158’ of lakefront with a lake view that
spans the entire back and most of the sides of the house.
This lot has a gentle path to the water and it has over 12’
of water at the end of the dock.
The reason why this was purchased was because of our drought
free guarantee. We will
always have water at this house.
The first thing
you will notice is way that this house makes you feel.
The house has 3 levels.
There are two bedrooms upstairs; master on the main; and a
finished basement down stairs with two additional bedrooms.
We invested capital into the stone chimney in order to add
“lake feel”.
The house is
located right off of

Current view of the lot.
The lot has a large channel view that opens to one of the main area of
the lake
Size of the lot- The lot is on .0.28 acre of land
Location of the

View to the left
This picture was taken during the drought.
The channel is normally over 50’ deep.
The channel opens to great water just past the green dock sitting out
from the point. This limits the
boat traffic and the crazy boat drivers pulling a tube.

What items can the renters expect that will be there? Basic necessities will be provided. This includes: paper items (toilet paper, towels and etc.), linens, utensils and cookware. Anytime the house is not rented, our family will be up at the lake. This means there may be some items left behind that you can use. Just give a call if you have a concern.
Do you limit who you rent to? Yes, this is a family area and aim towards the family vacation clientele. These houses are not to be used as lodges, party halls or college spring break houses. The fact that there is no nightlife in Hartwell limits the Spring Break draw! This is our family home and we open it up to other families to rent. There will be personal items inside each home.
Have you ever considered selling the property or the company as a package? As a good friend once said, "even the shirt off my back is for sale for the right price".
